The World Stroke Organization (WSO) and the Middle East and North Africa Stroke and Interventional Neurotherapies organization (MENASINO) are proud to announce a new accreditation program for stroke centers in the MENA region. This program will help to ensure that stroke patients in the region have access to the highest quality of care.

Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide. In the MENA region, stroke is a particular challenge due to the high prevalence of risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and smoking.

The WSO/MENASINO accreditation program will help to improve the quality of stroke care in the MENA region by:

  • Setting standards for stroke care
  • Providing training and education for stroke professionals
  • Recognizing stroke centers that meet the highest standards of care

The accreditation program is open to all stroke centers in the MENA region. Stroke centers that are accredited by the WSO/MENASINO program will be able to use the WSO/MENASINO logo and will be listed on the WSO/MENASINO website.

Patients who are treated at WSO/MENASINO-accredited stroke centers can be confident that they are receiving the highest quality of care.
